Up until this last year, I only had one tattoo.
But if you’ve met me, you know I went big on the first one — half a sleeve.
Snow falling on peonies.
Mountains and water winding underneath.
Each element carries deep meaning for me — the snow representing the storm, the peonies symbolizing resilience under pressure, the mountains and water reflecting my lifelong connection to nature.
And while I still love the artwork, I’ve come to realize something deeper about the woman who first sat in that tattoo chair 15 years ago.
She was strong, yes. Resilient, yes.
But she was also trying to prove it.
That tattoo wasn’t just a declaration of identity — it was a plea to be seen.
Seen as powerful. Seen as worthy. Seen as unbreakable.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was wearing my validation on my skin.
And as much as I try to live without regrets, there are moments when I wish I could go back — not to change the tattoo, but to whisper to that younger version of me:
You don’t need to prove your power. You just need to remember it.
Because what I’ve learned since then is that true power isn’t loud, performative, or rooted in proving. It’s quiet. Grounded. Certain. It doesn’t need a symbol to announce itself.
You Can’t Hear Intuition When You’re Performing for Approval
For a long time, I confused confidence with convincing.
I thought being powerful meant showing up loudly — selling harder, posting more, constantly proving my value. But intuition doesn’t live in that energy.
You can’t hear your inner voice when you’re performing for someone else’s applause.
These days, I often practice the pause of truth. Before I say yes to something, I take three deep breaths and ask:
“What am I trying to prove right now — and to whom?”
“Does this yes come from peace or panic?”
That micro-pause has become my superpower. Because intuition speaks softly. And if you don’t slow down, you’ll miss it.
Reframe: Validation seeks safety; intuition is safety.
Stillness Amplifies Intuition
When I started doing identity work and emotional mastery years ago, I realized how much noise I was carrying — mentors’ advice, Instagram trends, other people’s opinions of success.
And none of it sounded like me.
The feminine edge of intuition is space. Stillness. Breath.
That’s where your truth starts to echo.
Here’s a simple practice I use with my clients: Every week, do a five-minute “input audit.” List every source shaping your thoughts — the podcasts, the coaches, the content. Then ask:
“Are these voices helping me hear mine?”
Often, the answer is no. And that’s when I know it’s time to unplug. Because the more quiet you create, the more clearly you’ll hear your own knowing.
Prosperity Flows at the Speed of Self-Trust
The more I trust my intuition, the more I see how it affects every area of my business and life.
When I force things — timelines, launches, partnerships — I end up exhausted and resentful. When I trust timing and follow what feels alive, opportunities multiply in ways I couldn’t have strategized.
A few practices that help me embody this:
Decision windows instead of deadlines. Instead of “I must decide by Friday,” I say, “I’ll check in with clarity by Friday.”
Evidence tracking. I note every moment when waiting or trusting led to a better outcome. It builds the faith muscle.
Recalibration mantra: If it’s aligned, it arrives easily. If it’s forced, it’s feedback.
This is the foundation of what I teach inside my programs and help my 1:1 clients come home to — because sustainable prosperity starts in the unseen.
Your intuition is your most intelligent strategy.
Your peace is your greatest productivity hack.
And your self-trust is the only proof you’ll ever need.
5 Shifts That Happen When You’re Fully Tapped Into Your Intuition
(aka Totally in Sync with Divine Plans)
You start loving your own company.
Solitude stops feeling like loneliness and starts feeling like alignment.
You manifest faster — but with less effort.
Ideas, people, and opportunities show up effortlessly. You magnetize instead of chase.
Your timing becomes uncanny.
You stop forcing outcomes and trust divine pacing — realizing delay isn’t denial, it’s direction.
You care less about being understood — and more about being at peace.
Validation loses its grip when your self-trust grows stronger.
You see rejection as redirection.
Closed doors stop feeling like punishment and start feeling like guidance.
When you’re truly aligned with intuition, life stops being something to control — and starts being something to collaborate with.
I Don’t Regret My Tattoo Anymore
It’s a physical reminder of the day I tried to prove my worth — and the woman who no longer needs to.
Because every version of me — the one who sought proof, the one who performed power, the one who finally found stillness —they were all just guiding me back home.
Home to the truth that I never needed to prove my power. I just needed to feel safe enough to express it.
And that’s the beauty of this season of my life —I finally do.
