5 Ways I'm Prepping My Business Now for a Flowy, Fun, and Profitable Summer

Apr 21, 2025

Summer is coming. And if you're anything like me, you're craving slow mornings, salty skin, and the kind of memories that don’t include your laptop in the background. But here’s the truth: a flowy, fun, and profitable summer doesn’t just happen—it’s designed.

Right now, I’m prepping for several trips: several mountain escapes to Steamboat Springs, extended family time in Georgia, a beach getaway, and a long-awaited trip to Banff. I want to be fully present for all of it. That’s why I’m laying the foundation now.

Here are five ways I’m setting up my business to support a summer that’s as free as it is profitable—so you can do the same.

1. Rewiring My Mindset for Flow + Freedom
If your mind is stuck in “more = more,” summer’s going to feel like a sacrifice.

I’m doing deep mindset work now to reconnect with the version of me who creates spacious success. I ask:

  • What would the flowy, fun, and profitable version of me believe?

  • Where does she say no or simplify?

  • What identity shift is required to move from pressure to presence?

Try this:
Journal on the version of you who experiences overflow without overworking. Then ask: “What would she prioritize today?”

2. Prioritizing Energy & Time Efficiency
As a Manifesting Generator, I’m always looking for ways to do things faster and better.

That means:

  • Simplifying workflows

  • Using tools like ClickUp + email scheduling to automate

  • Batching content in 90-minute sprints

  • Removing calendar clutter that doesn’t serve the summer version of me

Try this:
Audit your calendar. What tasks could be batched, delegated, or dropped altogether?  You'll be surprised by how much is on your calendar that doesn't need to be.

3. Refining My Premium Client Messaging
My offers evolve. So does my messaging.
I’m revisiting:

  • My premium client profile

  • The language they’re using right now

  • The conversations I’m having with current clients
I’m making sure my content reflects the desires and pain points of my ideal summer client—the ones who are ready to invest in their next evolution.

Try this:
Ask your current clients: “What made you say yes to working with me?” Then use their words in your content this month.

4. Streamlining Systems, Funnels & Automation
No more broken links or manual onboarding tasks.
Right now I’m:

  • Checking every funnel from opt-in to checkout

  • Updating onboarding emails & welcome packets

  • Creating workflows for passive products

  • Building a clear sales tracker + launch planner

Because automation = freedom. And I want to spend my summer at the beach—not babysitting broken tech.

Try this:
Choose one funnel or offer and walk through the entire experience as if you were a client. What’s clunky? What’s missing?

5. Equipping My Team for Success
I’m onboarding a new VA and handing over tasks that I shouldn’t be doing this summer—like formatting content, building backend systems, and managing weekly emails.  Buying back my time and working out the kinks now so it's smooth sailing come summer.

I’m creating:

  • Clear SOPs for every recurring task

  • ClickUp templates for launch weeks

  • Loom videos for common questions

So my business can run without me—and I can run toward sunsets, laughter, and lazy mornings with my family.

Try this:
Create one Loom video today for a task you repeat often. It could save you hours every week.

Final Thoughts:
You don’t need to hustle through summer to make it successful.
Design your business now so that June, July and August feel like a gift—not a grind.
Peaceful profits are built through intentional prep, powerful identity work, and systems that support your highest vision.

What would your summer feel like if your business was already ready?
